Shipping Fees

1. Shipping fees are the charges received by JB to ship items to a buyer. For every order that is delivered, JB charges a certain amount from the customer as the shipping fee. However if the actual shipping fee is greater than the estimated shipping fee due to any reason e.g. bulk quantity, very heavy weight items, longer than expected routes or bulky dimensions, then the difference shall be borne by the customer.
2. Shipping Fee is calculated according to either the gross weight of the product or the volumetric weight of the product, whichever is greater, however, that is not the only factor that comes into consideration which affects the shipping charges. The destination of the delivery also affects the shipping charges of a product. Customer will be notified of the shipping fee prior to any shipment of the order. 
3. We do not offer Cash On Delivery as a payment option for orders above 20000 PKR. All orders above this amount must be paid for through our Bank account or other pre-payment options available on the site. By placing an order on our website for an amount above 20000 PKR, you acknowledge and agree that Cash On Delivery will not be available as a payment option for your order.
4. We do not offer COD for bulk Items e,g 25 Kilo Bags or large sized (Volumetric) orders. 
5. We do not offer COD for items priced above PKR 15,000/- each.
6. Fresh products that are not packaged or preserved are strictly limited to delivery within Karachi only. 

Free Delivery Over Rs. 100,000 

1. Free Delivery in Selected Area is a limited time offer only for Karachi. This offer can be extended/terminated by Jodiabaazar.com, in its sole discretion without any prior notice.
2. During the promotion period valid in selected areas (which will be announced time to time), customers placing their shopping order on jodiabaazar.com will be eligible for the offer (free standard delivery).
3. Free Delivery will only be applicable to orders whose is weight less than 30 KG. Free delivery is not eligible on Heavy or Bulky Items such as 50 KG Sugar Bags.
4. Jodiabaazar.com reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice, without liability, and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these Offer Terms or to replace, wholly or in part, this Offer by another offer, whether similar to this Offer or not.

Delivery Outside Karachi 

1. For orders outside of Karachi, with value greater than Rs. 5,000 or Bulky Items (>7 KG) customers must make full payment in advance into our bank account or other payment methods as agreed. If the customer does not agree to make full payment in advance, the order will be cancelled. By placing an order for shipment outside of Karachi, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this payment requirement.
2. JB team also has the discretion to charge for only the estimated shipping fee as advance payment on the order whilst the balance of the order will be paid by customer on COD / Delivery. In this regard, the value of the order does not matter. 
3. Free Delivery Is Not Available for OUT OF KARACHI Orders. Customer will be notified of the applicable charges.

Advance Payment

Jodiabaazar.com reserves the right to request advance payment (partial or full) for any order, regardless of order value or location, if we are unable to verify the authencity of the order or order's information. This may include, but is not limited to:

• First-time customers with high-value orders

• Orders placed with incomplete or unverifiable contact/delivery information

• Repeated failed delivery attempts or cancellations from the same customer/account

• Orders involving sensitive, perishable, or high-demand products

We retain the sole discretion to hold, cancel, or request advance payment for such orders. Customers will be notified accordingly, and the order will proceed only after the required payment is made.

Withholding Tax on COD Orders

1. Statutory Requirement
   In accordance with applicable laws of Pakistan, including but not limited to Section 6A of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 (withholding tax at the rate of 2%) and Section 3 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990 (withholding sales tax at the rate of 2%), Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions are subject to deduction of the above taxes on the gross amount of consideration.

2. Invoice Disclosure
   The Company shall reflect the applicable withholding amounts as separate line items on customer invoices in respect of COD orders, in addition to the price of goods and applicable sales tax.

3. Acknowledgment
   By selecting COD as a payment method, the Customer expressly acknowledges that the above-referenced statutory deductions are mandatory legal requirements and are not service charges, administrative costs, or fees levied by the Company.

Fragile & Glass Items

1. Fragile and Glass Products
   Certain products sold on Jodiabaazar.com may be fragile, breakable, or susceptible to damage during handling and transportation, including but not limited to glassware, bottles, jars, ceramics, crockery, mirrors, and other delicate items.

2. Packaging
   Jodiabaazar.com will take reasonable care to pack fragile and glass items appropriately for transportation. However, packaging and protective measures cannot completely eliminate the risk of breakage or damage during shipment, particularly where items are handled by third-party logistics or courier providers. 

3. Risk During Transportation
   By placing an order for a fragile or glass item, the Customer acknowledges that such items carry an inherent risk of breakage during transportation. Jodiabaazar.com shall not be responsible for damage caused solely by mishandling, dropping, crushing, impact, or other events occurring during transportation by a third-party courier or logistics provider, except where otherwise required under applicable law.

4. Inspection Upon Delivery
   Customers are advised to inspect fragile and glass items immediately upon delivery, before accepting the shipment where reasonably possible. If an item is received broken, cracked, shattered, or otherwise visibly damaged, the Customer should notify Jodiabaazar.com as soon as possible and preferably within 24 hours of delivery, along with clear photographs or videos of:

   • The damaged product;

   • The packaging and protective material;

   • The outer shipping package; and

   • Any visible signs of damage to the package.

5. Claims for Damage
   Any claim relating to a damaged fragile or glass item will be reviewed by Jodiabaazar.com on a case-by-case basis. Customers may be required to provide photographs, videos, packaging, or other information reasonably requested to investigate the claim. Where a claim is accepted, Jodiabaazar.com may, at its discretion and subject to applicable law, offer a replacement, refund, store credit, or other appropriate resolution.

6. Acceptance Without Inspection
   Acceptance of a shipment does not automatically waive the Customer's rights under applicable law. However, failure to report visible damage within a reasonable period may make it difficult for Jodiabaazar.com to verify the condition of the item at the time of delivery and may affect the ability to process a damage claim.

7. Delivery Restrictions
   Certain fragile, glass, oversized, or particularly delicate products may be subject to delivery restrictions based on the destination, courier availability, packaging requirements, or transportation risks. Jodiabaazar.com reserves the right to decline or cancel delivery of such items to locations where safe transportation cannot reasonably be ensured.

8. Special Packaging or Shipping Charges
   Additional packaging, handling, or shipping charges may apply to certain fragile, glass, bulky, or unusually shaped products. Where applicable, the Customer will be informed of such charges before shipment.

9. Customer Responsibility After Delivery
   Once the product has been delivered in good condition, the Customer is responsible for handling, storage, installation, and use of the product. Damage occurring after delivery due to improper handling, storage, installation, misuse, or accident will not be considered a delivery-related damage claim.

10. Special Delivery Arrangements for Fragile Items
    For certain fragile, glass, delicate, or high-risk items, Jodiabaazar.com may, at its sole discretion, arrange delivery through a designated logistics partner, self-pickup arrangement, or other specialized delivery method in order to reduce the risk of damage and ensure safer handling. Where such a delivery method is required, full payment of the order, including applicable shipping, handling, and other charges, must be made in advance before the order is dispatched or handed over to the designated logistics partner. The Customer will be informed of this requirement before shipment. If the Customer does not agree to the applicable advance-payment requirement or delivery arrangement, Jodiabaazar.com reserves the right to cancel the order.
